Our Story
At Lifting Honduras Foundation, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, we believe in the power of education to transform lives and communities. Our journey began with a simple yet powerful idea: to make a lasting impact on the education of children in Honduras. Our founder, a native of Honduras, was driven by a profound sense of responsibility to empower the youth and instill in them the belief that they can dream big and achieve anything through hard work and determination. This unwavering commitment gave birth to the initiative known as Lifting Honduras.
Our HISTORY
Our journey began with a heartfelt experience. After visiting Honduras and witnessing the pressing needs of underprivileged children, we were deeply moved. It was a moment of realization – a call to action.
Motivated by the desire to make a positive change, we decided to take matters into our own hands. Our mission started with a simple yet powerful idea: to provide support and resources for those in need. Inspired by the children we met and their eagerness to learn, we began by collecting school supplies.
This small gesture ignited a spark that would grow into our organization today. We are committed to continuing our mission, striving to make a lasting impact on the lives of those less fortunate.

Our Vision
Lifting Honduras is dedicated to transforming the educational landscape in Orocuina, Tocoa, and other rural areas. We will achieve this by supplying essential school materials and creating an inclusive learning environment. Our objective is to increase school attendance, enhance academic performance, and raise graduation rates in these regions. Our ultimate aim is to inspire as many children as possible to dream big, achieve their educational goals, and become exceptional individuals who make a positive impact in their communities.
